Day 1 : Departure to Nepalgunj

Group puja and rituals at Pashupatinath.
Transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport's domestic terminal. Flight to Nepalgunj. (40 min.flight )
Overnight in Nepalgunj.


Day 2 : Simikot

Early morning flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot, Humla District.

Rest and acclimatize in Simikot.

Overnight in Simikot.


Day 3 : Immingration process and rest in Taklakot ( Tibet )

Helicopter ride from Simikot to Hilsa.

Complete the Immigration process at the Nepal-China border. Drive to Taklakot or Purang (Tibet).

Stay overnight in Taklakot/Purang.

Day 4 : Taklakot and Manasarovar lake

Rest and acclimatize in Taklakot.

In the afternoon, drive to Manasarovar lake.

Complete the lake parikrama and stay overnight in Manasarovar.

 

Day 5 : Manasarovar and Darchen

Complete the necessary puja and rituals at Lake Manasarovar.

After Lunch, drive to Darchen. (1 hour, 35 km, 4600m.)

Overnight in Darchen.

 

Day 6 : Yam Dwar - Diraphuk / 1st day trek
Drive to Yam Dwar.
Kailash Outer Parikrama begins from Yam Dwar.
1st day trek to Diraphuk (12kms, 4890m.)

Overnight at a Guest House in Diraphuk.


Day 7 : Zuthulphuk / 2nd day trek

2nd day trek to Zhuthulphuk .(22kms, 4790m.)

Trek through Dolma La Pass, the highest point on the journey. (5610m)

Overnight at a Guest House in Zhuthulphuk.

 

Day 8 : Zuthulphuk- Hilsa or Simikot / 3rd day trek

3rd day short trek to reach the designated point where vehicles are waiting (2 to 3 hours, 8 km). This completes the Kailash Outer Parikrama.

Drive to Nepal-China border. Stay overnight in Hilsa or Simikot (Nepal).

Heli-ride to Simikot same day or next morning.


Day 9 : Simikot - Nepalgunj - Kathmandu

Morning flight from Simikot to Nepalgunj.

Rest in Nepalgunj.

Evening flight to Kathmandu. End of journey !
